- somedays frames are my nemesis as well. this was an exact copy of an existing frame (out of square of course) each of the short steps was about 1 inch long so cutting it safely was difficult to say the least. Over the course of several days i thought about how to build it. turns out is was pretty simple.
I tend to make different decisions on different projects. When there is a lot of weight that the drawers will be carrying, I will use metal drawer slides. Most cases, on cabinets like dressers or something like this night stand, I will use the self-adhesive nylon glide stripping which you can buy at Woodcraft in a roll. But on this project since the drawer boxes fit so well an slid nicely during the rough fitment, I didn't use anything. These drawers slide directly on the dust shelves that I made to hold the assembly together. If you look at my album, you can see additional pictures.
One can ask any price they want. Buyers set the price. You can always lower the asking price.
